A little more about the word Taba Naba and its origins....

Taba Naba is a song from the Torres Strait Islands just off the northern coast of Australia. It is a song about going down to the reef to explore and is spoken in the native Meriam Mir language. Christine Anu, a native singer, performed 'Taba Naba' with The Wiggles, an Australian children's music band. It is traditionally a 'sit down dance' performed with hand gestures and is a wonderful song for children to learn and sing.
